The Prophets
Dogmatic Series of Christianity
After several years of wrestling through the Bible several times, I was driven by the Holy Spirit, and I was ready for something heavier. I bought myself a complete dogmatic series
and began a serious amateur theology training. Every day, several hours a day, I studied the Scriptures.
I went from a baby Christian to a grown Christian. After I had read and studied the books to the end, I was ready for a new one challenge.
Bible Declaration of the Prophets
Driven by the Holy Spirit I decided to plunge into the prophetic Word and arrived at a Bible explanation of the Prophets. I bought the entire oeuvre and started
courageously study the prophetic Word. Every day, several hours a day, I studied the Prophets. I learned to discover the logic in God's Word,
which appealed to me as a PLC programmer. This cannot be otherwise because the Holy Spirit has taught all the Prophets must be the sound.
The empirical evidence that all the pieces fell into place also rules out coincidence.
Jesus Christ says the following about the Prophets of the Bible:
Matthew 5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Luke 18:31: Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
Luke 24:27: And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44: And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
What about the prophets after Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ warns us about many false prophets who will come in His Name according to the following scriptures in the Bible book of Matthew:
Matthew 24:11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
And also elsewhere in the Bible, God warns us about false prophets who will come in Jesus Christ's Name according to the following Bible texts:
2 Peter 2:1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 John 4:1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Some well-known false prophets in our history are: Mohammed (Islam - 610 AD), Jakob Lorber (1840 AD), Joseph Smith (Mormons - 1827 AD), Charles Taze Russel (Jehovah's Witnesses - 1870 AD) and the many new age movements.
These religions, founded by these prophets, all have one thing in common, which is that they claim that the Bible has been falsified and that Jesus Christ actually taught something other than what the Bible says.
According to these prophets, we should read the Bible differently and according to the teachings of these prophets.
The big problem I have with this is that the gods of these prophets were not almighty to safeguard the original Bible texts through the ages. These prophets I would ask: where
then has the original Bible gone? Wasn't your god almighty to ensure the original? My whole faith is based on this. How can I believe in a religion that refers to the Bible as the basis of
their beliefs but then claim that the same Bible is falsified? Such a belief teaches a contradiction where there lies are impossible to verify.
Faithful followers of these prophets should ask themselves the following questions: What prophecies of the Old Testament prophets can these prophets relate to themselves, as Jesus Christ did?
And why did God not allow one of these prophets to add a third Testament to the Bible, with all the related Biblical prophecies about this "prophet"? The answer is very simple: in the Bible
there are no prophecies about a prophet after Jesus Christ outside the Bible.
The Jews and Christians do not have this problem of confusion, according to them the Bible is the original and God has guaranteed the Bible from the beginning of His creation of heaven and earth.
It is precisely the opponents of the Christians who cause confusion and doubt God's Word the Bible. In addition, Christians, unlike the Jews, also believe in the following Bible text:
Acts 3:18: But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
Which of the false prophets has fulfilled the above scripture of the Biblical Prophets and has suffered like Jesus Christ?
Prophets after Jesus Christ may never contradict the Bible but like Jesus Christ, these Prophets will always confirm the Bible.
Then there are New Age movements that claim that sins do not exist and all you have to do is not let your "Ego" rear its head. One tries to achieve this by meditating endlessly, but if one is honest one has to admit that one never gets the "Ego" under it
get it under. This is the ultimate proof that sins do exist. Because why does one not get control over the "Ego"? Right, because one is a sinful person who needs forgiveness for his sinful nature.
And the only one who can solve this problem is Jesus Christ who died for our sins (read "Ego").
Do Christians worship three gods?
A common argument, especially among Muslims, is that Christians worship three gods. However, Christians base their beliefs on the following Bible texts:
Jesus is worshipped in the following Bible texts in the Bible book of Matthew:
Matthew 2:2: Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him (Jesus Christ).
Matthew 2:8: And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him (Jesus Christ) also.
Matthew 2:11: And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him (Jesus Christ): and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Matthew 14:33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him (Jesus Christ), saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 28:9: And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him (Jesus Christ).
Matthew 28:17: And when they saw him, they worshipped him (Jesus Christ): but some doubted.
Then the following Bible texts for reflection:
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word (Jesus Christ) was with God, and the Word (Jesus Christ) was God.
John 1:2: The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3: All things were made by him (Jesus Christ); and without him (Jesus Christ) was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:14: And the Word was made flesh (Jesus Christ), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 10:30: I (Jesus Christ) and my Father are one.
John 14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:10: Believest thou not that I (Jesus Christ) am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I (Jesus Christ) speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11: Believe me (Jesus Christ) that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me (Jesus Christ) for the very works' sake.
Romans 9:5: Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Galatians 3:20: Now a mediator (Jesus Christ) is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
2 Corinthians 13:14: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
If I let the above Bible texts work on me, I can only conclude that God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit are one. So Christians do not worship three gods but one God.
Can we Christians comprehend this with our minds or can we now fathom God? No, in contrast, the Bible teaches us the following in the Bible text below:
Romans 11:33: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
However, we Christians believe the Bible and do what Jesus Christ commands us and believe like a child according to the Bible text below:
Matthew 18:3: And said (Jesus Christ), Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The Bible book of Revelation
The last prophetic Word of the Bible is the Bible Book of Revelation by the Prophet John, which is in its entirety End Time Prophecy. This is also the most difficult book to understand because the Prophet John uses a lot of symbolic
language. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I began to delve into the Bible book of Revelation. Contrary to what most Bible teachers teach, about the time of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ,
